As part of our centennial celebrations, we are creating a single, unified organization to more powerfully advocate for our region with one voice.
We will still maintain our physical offices in Westchester with the same dedicated staff who will continue to honor and build upon our relationships with local nonprofits and communities.

November 10, 2021: A ribbon-cutting at the White Plains Education & Training Center launched a new partnership with Westchester Community College that will provide a convenient and state-of-the-art location for those looking to re-enter or upskill in the workforce. The Center is located within the White Plains Brookfield Commons residential housing complex. WCC is partnering with a network of organizations and companies to deliver short-term training tailored to the needs of area employers.
WPETC will provide pathways to employment and advancement for the residents of Westchester and the region. Under the auspices of the Division of Workforce Development and Community Education, the White Plains Center will focus on in-demand middle skill careers, short-term training for those jobs that require more than a high school diploma but less than an associate degree.
Westchester Community Foundation partnered with JP Morgan Chase Global Philanthropies to launch the Center in 2015. The Foundation currently supports education and workforce training at the Westchester Community College through the Westchester Workforce Funders Collaborative.
