Westchester Community Foundation Welcomes Elizabeth A. Cumming, Tully McGowan to Advisory Board

Hartsdale, NY (March 7 , 2024) – The Westchester Community Foundation, a division of The New York Community Trust, has welcomed Elizabeth A. Cumming, Esq. and Tully McGowan, CFA, to its Advisory Board. Cumming, a partner with the law firm of Glassman & Brown, LLP, and McGowan, a private wealth advisor with Bernstein Private Wealth Management, bring experience and expertise in working with individuals and families interested in philanthropy and legacy planning.

Elizabeth Cumming concentrates her practice in the areas of trust and estate planning, administration and litigation, elder law, and guardianship as well as real estate transactions, both residential and commercial. Her professional memberships include the Westchester Women’s Bar Association, the Westchester County Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, and the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York. She has lectured on Mental Hygiene Law (MHL) Article 81, Basic Elder Law, Planning with Wills and Trusts and the Article 81 Guardianship Training Course.

Tully McGowan is a Wealth Advisor at Bernstein Private Wealth Management with 20 years of experience. He leads a diverse team that specializes in advising executives, business owners and multi-generational families, particularly those that share a philanthropic and impact orientation. He holds an A.A.S. from Everett Community College and a B.A. from Stanford University. He’s a 21/64 Certified Advisor and a Chartered Financial Analyst Charterholder. Tully is a former mentor and board member for Minds Matter, a national non-profit serving low-income high school students. Outside his professional practice, Tully is involved in community organizing work in support of equity issues in Croton-on-Hudson, where he lives with his family.
