We have a new website!

Since inception, The Westchester Community Foundation has operated as an affiliate of The New York Community Trust.

As part of our centennial celebrations, we are creating a single, unified organization to more powerfully advocate for our region with one voice.

We will still maintain our physical offices in Westchester with the same dedicated staff who will continue to honor and build upon our relationships with local nonprofits and communities.

Children of all ages need a safe loving home, educational opportunities, enrichment programs, and positive adult role models.

Through the support of many donors, we’ve strengthened the county’s early childcare systems and after-school network and created a strong network of college prep programs. We’re helping:

  • Expand a parent-child program for pre-schoolers
  • Support youth leadership programs for middle- and high schoolers
  • Support mentoring programs for adolescent girls
  • Stop the school to prison pipeline
