Since inception, The Westchester Community Foundation has operated as an affiliate of The New York Community Trust.

As part of our centennial celebrations, we are creating a single, unified organization to more powerfully advocate for our region with one voice.

We will still maintain our physical offices in Westchester with the same dedicated staff who will continue to honor and build upon our relationships with local nonprofits and communities.

Creating a Donor-Advised Fund at WCF

Since 1924, The New York Community Trust and its Long Island and Westchester divisions have helped caring New Yorkers become informed philanthropists. We look forward to welcoming you to our donor community.

  1. Click the button below to complete the Donor-Advised Fund form. (Alternatively, you can click here to download a copy of the form and return it to us.)
  2. After submitting the form, each fund founder will be prompted to sign the fund agreement letter.
  3. Once the fund agreement letter is accepted by us, we will send you instructions for your initial contribution ($5,000 minimum), investment options, and log-in information to our easy-to-use online donor portal so you can begin making grant suggestions.
