Since inception, The Westchester Community Foundation has operated as an affiliate of The New York Community Trust.
As part of our centennial celebrations, we are creating a single, unified organization to more powerfully advocate for our region with one voice.
We will still maintain our physical offices in Westchester with the same dedicated staff who will continue to honor and build upon our relationships with local nonprofits and communities.

The New York Community Trust. For Westchester. Forever.
(Hartsdale, NY—November 21, 2023) The Westchester Community Foundation has awarded grants totaling $1,168,500 to 30 nonprofits.
Highlighting this grant round are grants totaling $474,000 to Community Resource Center, Community Voices Heard, Don Bosco Workers, and Neighbors Link. These grants will support community organizing and advocacy efforts by low-income residents working for housing stability, an end to workplace exploitation, and improved access to social safety nets that protect their health and wellbeing. “Westchester has a wealth of community leaders working at the local, state, and national level for lasting change,” said Executive Director Laura Rossi. “By supporting their efforts, our entire community will benefit.”
